Job Responsibilities:
Software developers research, analyse and evaluate the requirements for existing or new software applications and operating systems, and design, develop, test and maintain software solutions to meet those requirements.
Research, analyze and evaluate requirements for software applications and operating systems;
Research, design and develop computer software systems;
Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interfaces between hardware and software;
Develop and direct software testing and validation programs;
Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware or upgrade interfaces to improve performance;
Provide guidance on software programming and documentation development;
Evaluate, develop, enhance and document maintenance procedures for operating systems, communications environments and application software;
Consult with clients on maintenance of software systems.
