This scheme, which is expected to benefit 8 million members, is divided into two groups. EPF members who wish to apply can submit their application through isinar.kwsp.gov.my.

This group includes those who have not paid their CPF contributions for several months, housewives, self-employed persons, gig economy workers, the unemployed, those ASB Directory on unpaid leave and those who have lost their source of income.

Petition form:

– Those who have not paid their provident fund for at least 2 consecutive months when submitting their application

People in this group can submit their applications ASB Directory starting from December 21, 2020. They do not need to prepare any documents and their applications will be automatically approved. At the same time, CPF members in this group can start receiving withdrawals from mid-January 2021.

People in this oup need to prepare salary slips before and after salary deduction, or notification of suspension/reduction of allowance/OT subsidy. If these documents are not available, bank account statements or employer’s letter can also be considered.

People in this group can submit applications starting from January 11, 2021, and the application results will be announced within 2-3 weeks. Once the application is approved, everyone can receive the deposit before the end of the month.

The amount of money an applicant can receive will depend on the following circumstances:

 

– EPF first account does not exceed RM100,000

Members can withdraw up to RM10,000, and there must be at least RM100 in the account after the withdrawal. For example, if you have RM3,000 in your account, you can only withdraw a total of RM2,900.
